Eight races in nine days, are you up for the challenge? The 2nd Annual California Speed Week feature Imca Modified, Sports Mods, and Stock Cars. On April 30th this marathon event will start at the very 1/3 mile track at Bakersfield Speedway. The racing action will move to Tulare, Ca, May 1st, at Thunderbowl Raceway. On May 2nd, it’ll move to Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, Ca. The last day of the first segment will be at Merced Speedway on May 3rd.

With 173 miles traveled so far, May 4th gives the teams a day off from racing. Teams can now recuperate or get some much-needed work done, before heading into the second half of the tour.

Antioch Speedway will start the second segment on May 5th then move across the Bay to Petaluma Speedway on May 6th. After an hour-plus drive up into the mountains, the next stop is Placerville Speedway on May 7th. The final stop will be in Chico, Ca at the Silver Dollar Speedway.

Almost 600 miles overall to catch these eight races in only nine days. Do you have the skills to get through it? The payoff for the Modifieds is $1000 to win and $100 to start the show each night and $750 to win and $75 to start for the Sports Mods. If you have the car, the driver, the speed, and the endurance it might be worth it.

Check out our events calendar for details of each track and individual maps for each one. Check out any event updates and entry forms on the California IMCA Speedweek Facebook page.
